Letters for my Children to read

This blog is for my children to read in order to understand how I feel, even if I don't have a chance to share it with them because of the divorce and the fact that we do not live in the same house. When they are older I plan on sharing the fact that this blog is for them. I do not plan on using any details that would identify them.

Distance

You told me you chatted for about fifteen minutes with your older brother last night. He is 18 and away from home at college and your are almost thirteen.

Being away from family and friends has helped him understand, how not to take things for granted.

Even though he lived with me for the past couple of years, you miss him, all of us do...but that's it how it happens, we have so little time to connect and when we do, it not much later that they leave.

True friendships never end.
