Letters for my Children to read

This blog is for my children to read in order to understand how I feel, even if I don't have a chance to share it with them because of the divorce and the fact that we do not live in the same house. When they are older I plan on sharing the fact that this blog is for them. I do not plan on using any details that would identify them.

Father's Day

It was probably the best Fathers Day I ever had.

B started out by giving me a card and present. The card said I was one of the greatest fathers ever. The gift was simple but meaningful, a creamic jar to keep my jewelry inside.

I got a text mail from CV who thinks of me as a father figure, probably becuase I try to give her too much advice, although she is 27 years old and her own father is 72 years old.

I picked up J from his cousins house and went by the school to catch up on a little work. We had some leftovers from the Founders reception the day before and we headed over to your mom's house.

Three of my four children were there. We ate a nice lunch of turkey and ham sandwiches and a fruit salad.

I got two Fathers Day cards. The first one was written by your mom. The front cover said that you guys are always asking me for rides and inside my answer was " I am on my way...." She also included a gift card for dinner at the Cranberry cafe.

The second card, their first one ever purchased by my children with their own monies, talked about Peanuts Character Snoopy and Siesta. It said the Spanish word for Siesta was taking a well deserved nap.

HE texted my Happy Fathers Day from Milwaukee and B gave me a Fathers day rub down...

All in all the greatest Fathers Day...ever
