Letters for my Children to read

This blog is for my children to read in order to understand how I feel, even if I don't have a chance to share it with them because of the divorce and the fact that we do not live in the same house. When they are older I plan on sharing the fact that this blog is for them. I do not plan on using any details that would identify them.

Driving you back to you Ivy league college for the second year

I was not sure you wanted to go back.

It wasn't clear whether your only two friends at college (also former wrestlers...) had good enough grades (it doesn't matter because it is worse for parents to have their children fail the Ivy League, then a regular college...so their parents send them back, despite the enormous costs versus having them fail for the rest of their lives...) Now you understand how GWB made it through Yale.

But Curtis and Josh came back and you decided to become roomates with Josh again, after making it through freshman year in the townhouse together.

This year is half way to a college degree. Half way to starting to repay your student loans...

You were quiet most of the way, until you started talking about your poker kit with your uncle. You got excited, shared with him that you read two large books about high stakes poker. Told a story of a close friend who won $20,000 playing poker on-line. Mentioned how an asian student was able to 'use" the free internet money from a couple dozen poker sites to make money. Relayed a story of winning money in poker playing with your friends last week.

You always keep your cards close to your vest. Be careful that someone might be able to figure that out.
