I am late again for work, should I just quit or what?

Well it wasn't exactly the call I was expecting, but it was nonetheless unexpectedly expected.

I am glad you took my advice and went to work. It sounds like you were prepared to be fired and all the drama that goes with it, but nothing happened.

And a week later either you are still working or ashamed to mentioned you got fired, but either way you have learned a valuable lesson, working is for those people who have the rest of the lives organized to show up on time and at least pretend they are doing something on the job.
